Manifest
The Manifest portfolio photographs are still life images of objects in various collections from the region of central western New York State. During a visiting faculty appointment at RIT, I became interested in the intersection of various spiritual, social, and philosophical movements associated with the region. These images are representations of objects, documents, and images concerned with the issues of slavery and freedom for African Americans. The prints are pigment inkjet, 22" x 28.5" on 24" x 32" sheets.
